Opened in 1994, Masjid - Ul - Aqsa was created not only to allow Muslims to pray, but for the community to be educated in the beauty that is Islam.​

We pride ourselves in being steeped in the tradition of Islam, being one of the most respected places of worship in the United Kingdom, with a vibrant community that moves with the times.​

Our focus is on Living Islam. Our Imams are the most forward thinkers and educators, able to engage with people of all ages and backgrounds. We have a passionate and dedicated Executive Board, which prioritise on Education, Family, Community and Significant Events to fully experience and celebrate Ramadan, Eid, Muslim Festivals and life events.

Thank you for everyone who attended and donated at this wonderful event.
We raised £203,000.00 in 1 hour
Guest speakers included Iqbal Ahmed OBE Chairman , Aneel Musarat, Bilal Ahmed, Ali Akbor, Councillor Ali Ahmed, Councillor Lutfur Rahman, Chairman of Shahjalal Mosque Ashiq Miah, Councillor M Shoab, Councillor M Azam, Councillor Abdul Jabbar, Nashir Wahab Chairman Gmba and Abid Hussain. Guests included Mr Kamal Ahmed, Tarik Sarwar and Dr Nessar Choudhury.
